BRAND MESSAGING & MANAGEMENT

A strong persona, well-defined messages, and consistent voice across touchpoints are branding fundamentals.

My approach to branding includes:

  • Audience and market segmentation

  • Identifying each segment’s needs and preferences

  • Crafting relevant and engaging content intentionally designed to resonate within each segment

  • Engaging in environmental scans, competitive analyses, and market research

  • Following established standards for fonts, colors, logos, and taglines

Featured on this this page are print pieces including a brochure, document folder, and a flyer used for recruiting at college fairs and career centers. Included are some print and digital ads as well as links to radio ads targeting an eight-county geographic area. Large-format window dressing installed at a community center also appears.

While the campus no longer uses these taglines and has substantially updated its branding, my work adhered to the official brand standards at the time. It demonstrates brand voice and messaging across a range of touchpoints.

As I wrote copy, took photos, and designed content, the unique selling proposition I emphasized was that students could earn degrees from two prestigious Big Ten universities on one small regional campus. They could live at home without commuting long distances to larger campuses, saving time and money.
